Aluminum foil Mylar

Aluminum foil Mylar is a kind of composite shielding material, which is made by compounding high-purity aluminum foil with PET polyester film (also known as Mylar film) through coating conductive adhesive or hot-melt adhesive. Its structure is usually divided into single-sided, double-sided, hot-melt and winged (butterfly wing) types, with a thickness range of 0.06–0.15mm, and it has both the conductivity of metal and the insulation of polymer materials.

Advantages of Aluminum Foil Mylar


EMI/Static Protection: The conductivity of the aluminum layer eliminates electromagnetic interference (EMI), with a shielding attenuation of 70–80dB in the 1–100MHz frequency band, effectively isolating electromagnetic waves from interfering with equipment and harming the human body.


Static Discharge: When grounded, it can quickly release static electricity, protecting precision electronic components (such as PC motherboards and display screens).


Excellent Physical Properties: Strong adhesion, good mechanical stability, not easy to wrinkle or tear. Waterproof, oil-resistant, and excellent in anti-oxidation performance.
